Belgrade bourse's BELEX15 edges up as NIS rises

June 18 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange edged up on Tuesday, lifted by gains in oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS], bourse data showed.

The BELEX15 added 0.02%, closing at 985.55 points.

NIS was the sole blue-chip gainer on Tuesday, advancing by 0.12% to close at 816 dinars. It generated the single largest turnover for the day of 1.68 million dinars.

Two more blue chips traded on Tuesday, ending the session flat. Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] closed at 966 dinars on a volume of 377 traded shares, while Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] closed at 1,900 dinars with 20 of its shares changing hands.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also rose, edging 0.01% up at 2,198.63 points.

Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse rose to 3.5 million dinars ($36,700/34,200 euro) on Tuesday from 1.1 million dinars on Monday.
