Belgrade bourse's BELEX15 continues to rise, lifted by NIS

June 12 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange rose for a third session in a row on Wednesday, lifted by gains in oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS], bourse data showed.

BELEX15 added 0.22% to close at 1,002.07 points.

NIS increased by 2.14% to 858 dinars at close, generating the single highest turnover of 1.66 million dinars for the day.

Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] was the sole blue-chip loser, shedding 1.34% to 960 dinars on a volume of 216 shares.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also rose, closing 0.08% higher at 2,222.32 points.

Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse increased to 9.0 million dinars ($83,400/76,900 euro) on Wednesday from 7.9 million dinars on Tuesday. Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 5.2 million dinars to the total turnover on Wednesday. Government securities did not trade on Tuesday.
