Belgrade bourse BELEX15 flattish as Metalac, NIS fall

The BELEX15 slid 0.01%, closing at 984.84 points.

Metalac fell 0.79% to close at 1,640 dinars on a volume of 105 traded shares.

NIS lost 0.62% to close at 807 dinars in the single largest turnover of 1.36 million dinars for the day.

Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] led the blue-chip gainers, adding 0.72% to close at 975 dinars with 427 stocks changing hands.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also declined, edging 0.03% down at 2,197.39 points.

Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse jumped to 77.9 million dinars ($714,300/666,300 euro) on Thursday from 1.5 million dinars on Wednesday. Some 75 million dinars of Thursday's total came from trading in government securities.
