Austrian companies take over Croatia’s TAPESS

June 19 (SeeNews) - Austrian companies BIN Beteiligungsverwaltungs GmbH and Gollner Immobilien KG have acquired Croatian hygiene products distributor TAPESS from local consultancy company GITONE Kvarner, according to data from the Croatian court registry.

The commercial court in Rijeka registered the two Austrian companies as the new owners of TAPESS on June 4. The value of the deal was not disclosed.

TAPESS imports and distributes hygiene products, such as stationery, professional cleaning products, cleaning equipment and tools, hotel cosmetics and hotel room equipment, professional cleaning machines and vacuum cleaners, according to its website.

TAPESS reported revenue of 11.5 million euro ($12.3 million) in 2023, up from 10.1 million euro in 2022, according to data from business information provider Dun & Bradstreet.
