The decline was chiefly driven by lower confidence in the trade and construction sectors, the Bank of Albania said in a monthly business and consumer confidence survey.
In June, the industry confidence indicator saw a slight drop by 0.4 percentage points (pp), whereas confidence in construction fell more sharply, by 2 pp.
The services confidence indicator fell 3.8 pp, to 20 pp above its historic average. Confidence in trade saw the most drastic drop, by 4.8 pp in June, to 9.5 pp above the historic average.
The consumer confidence index down ticked by 0.8 pp, to just above the historic average.
