March 11 (SeeNews) - Albanian construction firm Albavia signed a 185 million leks ($1.9 million/1.8 million euro) contract with the municipality of the south-eastern town of Pogradec for the construction of a road linking the Zemce bridge to Propisht, the municipality said on Monday.
The value of the contract is lower than the works' estimated budget of 220 million leks, the municipality said in a signed contract notice.
Albavia was established in 1998 as a joint venture between Albanian shareholders and French firm Eurovia, according its website. Since 2007, the company is fully Albanian owned.
