Albanian investment funds' NAV up 23% y/y at end-March

June 19 (SeeNews) - The net asset value (NAV) of the investment funds operating in Albania rose to 51.7 billion leks ($553.5 million/514 million euro) at the end of March, from 41.9 million a year earlier, the financial supervision authority said on Wednesday.

Compared to the end of December 2023, NAV expanded by 2.76% in the three months through March.

The proportion of government securities in the assets of investment funds shrank to 61.63% at end-March, from 71.77% a year earlier.

Raiffeisen Bank’s investment fund Raiffeisen Prestigj was the largest fund in terms of assets operating in Albania, followed by Raiffeisen Vision and Raiffeisen Euro.
