January 31 (SeeNews) - Albania's finance ministry sold 14.43 billion leks ($134 million/123.4 million euro) worth of government securities at two auctions held on Tuesday, data by the country's central bank shows.
The finance ministry sold 12.65 billion leks worth of one-year Treasury bills that will mature on February 1, 2024, the data shows. Some 3.5 billion leks of the offer was reserved for the central bank.
The finance ministry also sold 1.776 billion leks worth of six-month government bills with a maturity date of August 3, 2023. Some 300 million leks of the offer was reserved for the central bank.
