Albania opens tender for disaster loss database

November 15 (SeeNews) - Albania's information and communication technology agency, AKSHI, said on Wednesday it has opened a tender for a project estimated at 47 million leks ($490,300/451,000 euro) to establish an online disaster loss database for the national civil defence agency.

Potential bidders should be able to build a computer system to collect and manage disaster loss data and exchange information with other institutions, AKSHI said in a tender notice.

The winning bidder must set up the database within a six-month period and provide maintenance services for two years after.

Offers can be submitted until December 15.
