The budget for the project is set at 242 million leks ($2.5 million/2.4 million euro).

The potential contractor should be able to configure an AI-powered platform for public institutions, automating tasks such as translating EU legislation into Albanian, comparing legislation, classifying responsible institutions, assisting in legal drafting, replacing manual processes, obtaining information through a chatbot, configuring technology for EU data processing, setting up a digital platform, and generating periodic reports for institutions, AKSHI said in a tender notice.

Regulatory alignment with the EU is a key requirement for the integration of Albania in the union, AKSHI noted.

The winning bidder must finalise the AI implementation process within a nine-month timeframe and subsequently provide system maintenance for a two-year period.

Offers can be submitted until December 13.
