The deal will bolster Accenture's customer analytics services and support its strategy to invest $3 billion (2.8 billion euro) in AI to help organisations transform their operations, the buyer said in a statement, without disclosing financial details.
It is also in line with Accenture Song's ongoing investments in data and AI capabilities to drive business growth and customer engagement, which include acquisitions across the US, Thailand and Australia.
GemSeek’s over 170 employees in Bulgaria and the UK will join Accenture Song as its founding team in Bulgaria, expanding its presence and offerings across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Sofia, GemSeek helps businesses in the telecommunications, healthcare, consumer goods and financial service industries understand customers through insights, analytics and AI-powered predictive models.
New York-listed Accenture employs 733,000 staff, who help clients in over 120 countries optimise their operations, accelerate revenue growth and enhance citizen services.
