Last week, Taewoong signed a memorandum of understanding with LA Trans and plans to finalise the takeover in the third quarter, UK shipping news provider The Loadstar reported on Thursday.
It did not provide financial details about the deal.
By the time this story was published, 3PL Taewoong Logistics and LA Trans had not replied to emails from SeeNews seeking confirmation of the takeover.
LA Trans was founded by local businessman Alan Lincic, according to the court registry. It posted a revenue of 2.05 million euro ($2.2 million) in 2023, down from 2.15 million euro in 2022, according to business information provider Dun & Bradstreet.
