July 21 (SeeNews) - Pan-European renewables developer Aukera Energy said on Tuesday that it has signed a 48.5 million euro ($55.4 million) financing contract with the World Bank Group's International Finance Corporation (IFC) to fund the construction of the second phase of its 250 MW / 500 MWh Gura Ialomitei battery energy storage project (BESS) in Romania.
