October 22 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 5,970.58 points on Friday, up 4.8% compared with its closing value of 5,699.83 points on October 15, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) jumped to 197.7 million denars ($3.7 million/3.2 million euro) in five trading sessions this week from 68.9 million denars in four trading sessions last week.
The bourse was closed on October 11 due to a national holiday.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the largest single portion of the trading turnover on the MSE this week, of 67.5 million denars, as 6,362 of the lender's shares changed hands in a total of 139 transactions.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 133.72 points, unchanged compared with the closing value on October 15.
