March 29 (SeeNews) - Serbia’s average net wage is expected to reach 920 to 930 euro ($1,002) by the end of this year and 1,000 euro by the end of next year, the finance minister said.
Average pensions and minimum wages are expected to rise to 650 euro each by 2027, finance minister Sinisa Mali said in a press release on Thursday.
In January, president Aleksandar Vucic said that Serbia’s average net wage is expected to increase to 1,400 euro by the end of 2027.
Serbia’s real net wage in January totalled 818 euro, according to the latest data from the statistical office.
In February, Serbia’s consumer prices increased by 5.6% on the year, the statistical office earlier this month.
