April 19 (SeeNews) - German medical vials manufacturer Schott Pharma plans to open a factory in the city of Jagodina, in central Serbia, by the middle of 2025, local media reported on Friday.
The factory will employ 130 workers in the initial phase, with the number to rise to 350 at a later stage, media outlet eKapija quoted factory CEO, Denis Nikitin, as saying.
Schott Pharma broke ground for the factory in Jagodina in December. The size of the investment was undisclosed.
Schott Pharma, which debuted on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in September, is a unit of Schott AG.
