January 16 (SeeNews) - The aggregate value of Macedonian banks' outstanding loans to the private sector rose 1.16% year-on-year to 274.3 billion denars ($4.73 billion/4.44 billion euro) at end-November, after increasing by 1.82% in October, according to data from the central bank, NBRM.
At the same time, the value of bank deposits added 4.41% year-on-year to 309.5 billion denars at end-November, speeding up from 4% increase a month earlier, figures published on NBRM's website show.
The total assets of Macedonian banks expanded by 3.35% on the year, reaching 527.9 billion denars at the end of November, after increasing by an annual 3.17% in October.
