September 23 (SeeNews) - Kosovo's gross electricity production decreased to 476.06 GWh in July, down 5.65% year-on-year, the national statistical office said.
Thermal power plants produced 468.63 GWh of electricity, wind and solar power plants generated 22.98 GWh, while hydro power plants generated 5.71 GWh, Kosovo's Agency of Statistics said in a statement late on Thursday.
Kosovo imported 343.72 GWh of electricity in July, up 25% on the year, whereas power exports rose by an annual 39.17% to 364.98 GWh.
Coal production was about 6.38 thousand tonnes in July, down 15.95% compared with the same month of the previous year.
