April 26 (SeeNews) - Discount retail chain Lidl, part of Germany’s Schwarz Group, started the construction of a supermarket in Mostar, local media reported on Friday.
The Mostar supermarket is expected to be finished by November 15, news portal Biznis Info reported.
Lidl is currently building several supermarkets across the country and a distribution center near Sarajevo, according to the report.
Germany's WE-International Zweite established Lidl BH in 2021, according to Bosnia's registry of business entities. Sarajevo-based Lidl BH has two subsidiaries - one in Banja Luka and one in the Brcko district.
In Southeast Europe, Lidl is already present in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, and Romania.
