BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), February 1 (SeeNews) – German companies R+S Group and FFT are interested in investing in energy projects in Bosnia's Serb Republic, the entity's economic relations ministry said.
R+S Group, which employs 3,500 people, is interested in finding a business partner in the Serb Republic in order to expand its operations to this part of Europe, the ministry said on Monday.
The German company performs electrical works on residential and commercial buildings and ships, and manufactures equipment for electrical installations.
FFT, which manages projects in the automotive industry, aviation and renewable energy, is looking to start an engineering project bureau in the Serb Republic.
The directors of the two companies are due to shortly visit the ministry of economic relations for further talks on their planned investments, the ministry concluded.
The Serb Republic is one Bosnia's two autonomous regions. The other is the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
