SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), August 19 (SeeNews) – Bosnian cement plant Fabrika Cementa Lukavac [SAJ:FCMLR] said on Friday its first-half net profit jumped 35.1% on the year to 5.7 million marka ($3.3 million/2.9 million euro).
The company's operating income climbed by an annual 27.4% to 29.3 million marka in January-June, while operating costs rose 22.4% to 23.5 million marka, FCL said in a filing with the Sarajevo bourse.
Fabrika Cementa Lukavac, the leading manufacturer of Portland and masonry cement in Bosnia, is majority-owned by Austrian peer Asamer Baustoffe AG.
