March 26 (SeeNews) - The Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) said on Tuesday it has issued a bourse trading licence to Belgrade-based brokerage house TradeWin 24.
TradeWin 24 has acquired a bourse membership status, becoming BELEX's 21st brokerage member, the bourse said in a brief statement.
Only one of the 21 active brokerages on the Belgrade bourse has also a status of a market maker. This is M&V Investments which is representing two blue-chip companies - cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] and renewable energy firm Fintel Energija [BEL:FINT], BELEX data showed.
The bourse's market capitalisation totalled 442.4 billion dinars ($4.09 billion/3.77 billion euro) at close on Monday, with 271.4 billion dinars of the total generated by nine members of the blue-chip BELEX15 index.
The participation of foreign investors in the bourse's overall share turnover fell to 7.06% in February, from 8.59% in January and a peak of 25.48% in December, according to BELEX's website.
