March 28 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 0.22% higher at 985.47 points on Thursday, boosted by gains in industrial gases maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] and insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS], bourse data showed.
Messer added 1.56% to 24,850 dinars in a volume of 102 shares. Dunav closed 0.58% higher at 1,048 dinars. A total of 3,085 Dunav shares changed hands generating the day's largest turnover of 3.2 million dinars.
At the other end, oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] paced the blue-chip decliners, closing 0.71% lower at 844 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index also rose, by 0.10% to 2,142.96 points.
Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse fell to 9 million dinars ($83,000/77,000 euro) on Thursday from 346.1 million dinars on Wednesday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 104,829 million dinars of Thursday's turnover.
