March 15 (SeeNews) - Albanian solar parks developer Vega Energy said it has finished installation of a 10 MW photovoltaic (PV) park near the southwestern city of Fier, commissioned by local energy producer EZ-5 Energy.
The solar park is set to produce 20,000 MWh of electricity per year, Vega Energy said in a social media post on Thursday.
Development of the solar park commenced in 2022, according to EZ-5 Energy’s website.
EZ-5 Energy was founded in 2019 by local oil-to-construction conglomerate Kastrati Group and individual investor Altin Kodra under the name Kastrati Energy. In 2020, Kastrati Group sold its 80% stake to now sole shareholder Edmond Ademaj, according to Albania's business register.
