July 7 (SeeNews) - Air Serbia and Turkish Airlines expanded their existing codeshare agreement by placing each other’s marketing codes on additional destinations, Air Serbia said on Wednesday.
Air Serbia will place its marketing code on Turkish Airlines flights to Odesa, Kiev, Cairo, Amman and Tel Aviv via Istanbul, as well as on local flights to destinations in Turkey such as Izmir, Antalya, Bodrum, Ankara, Gazipasa, Adana, Dalaman, Gaziantep, Kayseri, Konya and Trabzon, the company said in a statement.
Turkish Airlines, in turn, will add its marketing code to Air Serbia flights to Banja Luka and Tivat via Belgrade, the Serbian flag carrier said.
"We already have successful cooperation with Turkish Airlines. We are pleased that by expanding our mutual business relations, we will further contribute to improving and strengthening the cultural and economic ties between our countries. We are happy to be able to provide passengers of both companies with an even more attractive travel offer”, Jiri Marek, General Manager Commercial and Strategy at Air Serbia, said in the statement.
The two airlines already had their own marketing code on each other’s flights on the Belgrade-Istanbul route.
