ISTANBUL (Turkey), April 7 (SeeNews) – The combined net profit of the Turkish banks declined 26.3% year-on-year to 3.184 billion Turkish lira ($1.5 billion/1.1 billion euro) in February, the country's Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency said on Monday. The banking sector's loan portfolio increased 32.2% on the year to 1.078 trillion lira at the end of February, while deposits were up 22.5% to 963 billion lira, data from the regulator's February report on the domestic banking sector showed.
