ANKARA (Turkey), February 6 (SeeNews) – The combined net profit of the Turkish banks rose 5.1% to 24.7 billion Turkish lira ($11.1 billion/8.2 billion euro) in 2013, the country's Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency said on Thursday. The banking sector's loan portfolio increased 31.8% on the year to 1.05 trillion lira at the end of 2013, while deposits were up 22.5% to 945.8 billion lira, data from the regulator's December report on the domestic banking sector showed.
