September 20 (SeeNews) - Turkish conglomerate Yildiz Holding has inked a preliminary agreement to acquire 75% of the meat processing facilities of food producer Aytac from local diversified group Yimpas Holding for 150 million Turkish lira ($76 million/56 million euro), local media reported.
Under the agreement, Yildiz Holding will take a 75% stake in the Aytac Et Entegre Tesisleri meat plant, located in the Cankiri province, together with its properties and financial obligations, daily Zaman reported on Thursday.

The deal is subject to the approval of Turkey's competition authority, the daily said, adding that Aytac Et idled production in July due to financial difficulties.
