February 3 (SeeNews) - Turkey's exports increased by 9.6% on the year to $12.2 billion (9.0 billion euro) in January, the Turkish Exporters' Assembly, TIM, said. The garment and apparel sector registered the highest export figure of $1.589 billion in the review period, followed by the automotive and the chemical sectors with exports of $1.587 billion and $1.4 billion, respectively, TIM said in a statement on its website on Saturday.
