November 4 (SeeNews) - Macedonian non-life insurer Triglav Osiguruvanje [MSEVROS], a unit of Slovenian insurance group Triglav, said its profit after-tax increased to 59.24 million denars ($1.07 million/962,300 euro) in the first nine months of the year from 40.56 million denars a year earlier mainly due to higher net premium income.
The company's total revenue for the first nine months rose 6.1% to 907 million denars, the insurer said on Thursday in a bourse filing.
Its net premium income climbed 9.3% to 828.1 million denars in the January-September period, while investment income increased 8.1% to 43.65 million denars.
The company's costs added 4.1% to 847.8 million denars.
On the non-life segment in Macedonia, Triglav competes with Vienna Insurance Group's units Osiguruvanje Makedonija and Winner, Sava Osiguruvanje, Euroins, Eurolink, Insig, Uniqa, Insurance Policy, Albsig, and Croatia Insurance.
