January 10 (SeeNews) - Italian airline Sky Alps plans to base one aircraft in Bosnia and Herzegovina's Mostar in 2025 and launch more new flights from the airport, regional media reported.
Sky Alps plans to connect Mostar to Stuttgart, Vienna, Naples, Palermo and Catania, regional news provider Zamaero reported on Tuesday, citing Marko Djuzel, director of Mostar airport, as saying.
Sky Alps already made an offer to launch direct flights from Mostar to Rome, Bari, Verona and Munich, the operator of Mostar airport said earlier in January. The air carrier offered to launch the flights as part of a bid submitted in the airport's public call for flights subsidies in 2024.
The Mostar airport is one of Bosnia's four international airports. The others are located in Sarajevo, Banja Luka and Tuzla.
