Skopje, Ohrid airports passenger traffic rises 12.7% y/y in Jan-May

June 18 (SeeNews) - Passenger numbers at North Macedonia’s international airports in Skopje and Ohrid rose to 1,168,049 in the January-May period, up 12.7% compared with the same period of last year, Aeroports de Paris (ADP) said.

In May alone, passenger numbers came in at 274,056, down 3.1% from May 2023, ADP said in a statement on Monday.

Aircraft movements at the two airports reached 9,610 in January-May, up 18.7% compared to the first five months of 2023.

In May alone, there were 2,267 aircraft operations at the two airports, 8.6% more than in May of last year.

ADP owns 46% of Turkey’s TAV Airports, the company operating the airports in Skopje and Ohrid.
