November 7 (SeeNews) - The main index of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE), the MBI10, rose 1.23% month-on-month in October, to 5,655.25 points, as total trading turnover increased, the bourse said. Turnover totalled 915.2 million denars ($14.7 million/14.8 million euro) in October, up 92.7% month-on-month, while turnover on the bourse's electronic system of trading (BEST) went down 23.2% to 250.4 million denars, the MSE said in a statement on Friday. The number of transactions decreased 32.5% to 1,075 in October. The MSE's market capitalisation totalled 211.3 billion denars at the end of October, up 1.7% month-on-month, and 4.6% lower on an annual comparison basis. The MBI10 stood at 5,999.64 points at the end of October 2021. Trading turnover on the MSE totalled 930.2 million denars in October last year, earlier bourse data showed. (1 euro = 61.84 denars)
