The facility, to be named Ergosana, will be specialised in the production of medical ergometers and other medical devices, local news portal Tomislavcity reported on Monday.
Apart from production operations, the facility will also include departments for development, quality management, service, and marketing. Currently, work is underway on the renovation of the building that will house the factory, the report reads.
Founded in 1974, Schiller employs around 1,400 people across its 30 subsidiaries. The company manufactures and supplies devices for cardiopulmonary diagnostics, defibrillation, and patient monitoring, as well as software solutions for the medical industry.
