June 14 (SeeNews) - Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair aims to transport 120,000 passengers next year to and from Bosnia's Banja Luka, local media reported on Friday.
"I am glad that we are developing in Banja Luka, by introducing new flights to Berlin this year, as well as the popular connections to Brussels, Memmingen and Stockholm," Denis Barabas, the company's deputy manager for Southeast Europe and the Balkans, said as reported by news agency Srna.
Banja Luka is the largest city in the Serb Republic - one of two entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
At the moment, Ryanair does not fly to Bosnia's capital Sarajevo.
