SKOPJE (North Macedonia), November 20 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia's real net wage increased by 5.8% year-on-year in September, after growing by an annual 8% in August, the national statistical office said on Friday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage in North Macedonia added 7.7% on the year in September, reaching 27,405 denars ($528/444 euro), Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms, of 10.6%, was registered in arts, entertainment and recreation, followed by the manufacturing sector with an annual rise of 10.2% in September.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage in North Macedonia decreased by 0.3% in September.
