October 21 (SeeNews) - The real net wage in North Macedonia decreased 4.7% year-on-year in August, after falling 3.9% the previous month, the national statistical office said on Friday. In nominal terms, the average net wage added 11.3% on the year in August, reaching 31,871 denars ($505/517 euro), Makstat said in a statement. The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms - by 16.2% - was registered in the manufacturing sector, followed by a 16.1% rise in the accommodation and food service sector. On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage in North Macedonia fell by 1.1% in August. (1 euro = 61.57 denars)
