October 26 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based meat processing company Pekabesko [MSE:PKB] said on Wednesday that its net profit fell by an annual 6% to 74.1 million denars ($1.2 million/1.2 million euro) in the first nine months of 2022. Pekabesko's total operating revenue rose 13% year-on-year to 4 billion denars in the January-September period, the company said in an interim financial statement. Domestic sales and sales abroad rose by an annual 13% each, to 3.4 billion denars and 537.6 million denars, respectively, in the nine months through September. The company's operating expenses went up 15% on the year to 3.9 billion denars in the period under review. Pekabesko's shares last traded on the bourse on October 12, at an average price of 16,500 denars. Pekabesko was established in 1979 as a state-owned company and privatised in 1991.
