October 28 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's NLB Banka [MSE:TNB], part of Slovenian banking group Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB), reported a net profit of 2 billion denars ($33.1 million/33.2 million euro) in the first nine months of 2022, up 21% on an annual comparison basis. Net interest income edged up to 2.3 billion denars in the January-September period, from 2.2 billion denars in the like period last year, whereas net fee and commission income rose from 882.9 million denars to 923.1 million denars, NLB Banka said in an interim financial statement on Thursday. Its total assets fell down to 106.97 billion denars at the end of September from 107.70 billion denars at the end of last year. Loans and advances to customers other than banks rose to 68.1 billion denars at the end of September from 65.6 billion denars at the end of 2021, while deposits from such customers fell to 85.2 billion denars from 86.2 billion denars.
