N. Macedonia's Makedonija Osiguruvanje to pay 0.55 euro/share dividend for 2023

May 31 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Makedonija Osiguruvanje - Vienna Insurance Group (VIG) [MSE:KJUBI] said on Friday its shareholders have greenlighted a plan to distribute a gross dividend of 34 denars ($0.60/0.55 euro) per share for 2023.

The insurer will distribute 24.4 million denars as dividend for 2023, it said in a bourse filing.

Last year, Makedonija Osiguruvanje paid a gross dividend of 88 denars per share for 2021 and 2022.

The insurer's net profit decreased 7.3% year-on-year to 37.1 million denars in 2023.

Its shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on May 30, at an average price of 1,245 denars.

Makedonija Osiguruvanje, set up as a state-owned insurer in 1945, became part of Austria's Vienna Insurance Group in 2013.
