Non-life insurance premiums increased 13.51% year-on-year to 9.1 billion denars in the nine months through September, while premiums in the life insurance segment went up 9.29% to 1.7 billion denars, according to figures released by the Insurance Supervision Agency.
Triglav Osiguruvanje, part of Slovenian insurance group Triglav, had the largest market share among the non-life insurers in the January-September period - of 12.63% - as its gross written premiums came in at 1.2 billion denars, down 5.88% year-on-year.
In the life insurance segment, Croatia Osiguruvanje - Life held the largest market share of 29.47% with gross written premiums of 501.39 million denars in the January-September period, up 2.62% on the year.
The report includes data on eleven non-life insurers and five life insurers.
