SKOPJE (North Macedonia), December 7 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia's economy shrank by an estimated 3.3% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2020, after declining by an annual 12.7% in the previous quarter, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
The country's gross domestic product (GDP) totalled 170 billion denars ($3.3 billion/2.8 billion euro) at current prices in the July-September period, the statistical office said in a statement.
Exports of goods and services fell by 6.8% in nominal terms in the review period, while imports decreased by 3.2%.
Household final consumption decreased by an estimated 1.4% in the third quarter of the year.
