October 10 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's government said it adopted a package of measures totalling 360.2 million euro ($350.2 million) to help its citizens cope with the ongoing energy and economic crisis. The new anti-crisis package includes targeted support for socially vulnerable categories, help for public and health institutions, support for company liquidity, and investments in renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, the government said in a press release on Sunday.The objective is to stabilise food prices while also providing aid to businesses and citizens. Additionally, the measures will help maintain macroeconomic and fiscal stability. North Macedonia's average annual consumer price inflation accelerated to 18.7% in September, from 16.8% in August.
