September 1 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's government said it will start a census on September 5 after postponing it earlier this year.The census commissions in each of the country's 50 census regions have completed the training of enumerators who will kick off the counting of the population on Sunday at 8 a.m., the government said in a statement.The census was originally planned to be conducted from April 1 to April 21 but was postponed because of concerns over the spread of Covid-19.The census will continue until September 30.North Macedonia has a population of 2 million, according to the last census held back in 2002. A new data gathering process began in October 2011 but was halted after the state census commission resigned.
