April 19 (SeeNews) - Moldova's trade deficit widened by 25.8% on the year to $623.3 million (578 million euro) in the first two months of 2022, the country's statistics bureau said.
Moldova's exports rose 60% on the year, while imports increased by 40.1% in the first two months of the year, the statistics office said in a statement on Friday.
In February alone, exports jumped 48.3% on the year to $336.6 million, while imports rose 28.3% to $669.1 million.
