The logistics centre will be built on a 200,000 square metre land plot near Kumanovo, in the north of the country, the government said in a press release on Thursday.
The investment in the logistics centre will amount to around 80 million euro ($78 million).
Lidl has already recruited 80 employees in North Macedonia, the government added.
Last year, North Macedonia's government said that Lidl intends to open several stores and build a logistics centre in the country that will serve as a supply hub for the supermarket chain.
Elsewhere in Southeast Europe, the German discount chain is present in Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia and Romania, and has said it is considering opening stores in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
