June 21 (SeeNews) - Greece's Pavlidis Marble-Granite will acquire Dutch-based investment fund Stone Works Holding Cooperatief, majority owner of Macedonian marble producer Mermeren Kombinat [MSE:MERM], the Skopje-based company said on Wednesday.
The deal, agreed between Pavlidis and Stone Works, has to be approved by Macedonia's competition authority, Mermeren Kombinat said in a notice filed with the Macedonian Stock Exchange.

The price of the planned deal was not disclosed.
Stone Works owns 88.4% of Mermeren Kombinat.
Perikles Nicolaou, CEO of Mermeren Kombinat, welcomed the deal, adding that Mermeren Kombinat will remain committed to its customers and will boost its production.
Mermeren Kombinat booked a net profit of 213.5 million denars ($3.9 million/3.5 million euro) in 2016.
