November 12 (SeeNews) - Foreign tourist arrivals to North Macedonia plunged by an annual 92.3% in September - to 7,323, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in North Macedonia fell to 17,954 in September, a decrease of 90.9% year-on-year, Makstat said in a statement.
Out of the total number of foreign tourists who visited North Macedonia in September, 12.6% came from Albania, 11% from Turkey and 10.1% from Serbia.
Domestic tourists numbered 36,990 in September, up 33.7%, as they spent 99,164 overnights, up 26% year-on-year.
