June 29 (SeeNews) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) is lending 100 million euro ($140 million) to the Macedonian Bank for Development Promotion (MBDP) to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the country, the bank said. The loan is intended to support Macedonia’s SMEs and industrial investment projects in the fields of knowledge economy, energy and environmental protection in compliance with EIB eligibility criteria, the lender said in a statement.
