June 26 (SeeNews) - The Czech Development Agency has opened a 66 million koruna ($2.8 million/2.5 million euro) tender for the construction of a drinking water plant in Bosnia's Teslic, some 85 km east of Banja Luka, the Teslic municipal government said.
The project is a donation from the Czech Republic and includes the installation of water treatment and filtration equipment at the future plant, the municipal government said in a statement on Wednesday.
The Czech Development Agency, which is a state organisation under the authority of the Czech Republic's foreign ministry, and the Teslic municipality signed on June 22 an agreement on the donation.
The deadline in the tender for the construction of the plant expires on July 20, as companies from all around the world can participate.
Teslic is located in the Serb Republic, one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
